Getting accustomed again to a country you once migrated or moved away from isn’t a piece of cake. I’ve lived in 3 countries and perhaps would add a few more to that list in the years to come.
All of those countries were my home for a while.
Be it weeks, months or years, I created a daily routine, built friendships, had favourite dishes and favourite places to spend my free time.
Then the time came to bid adieu, leaving my everyday life a memory, my colleagues, companions were all across the seas.
Despite the fond memories I don’t really regret leaving those countries but I will forever miss the good times and some amazing sceneries of those countries but most of all I would miss the sincere people I met throughout my stay.
Returning home wasn’t exactly easy. Getting accustomed to the local lifestyle and adjusting to the weather conditions was a massive challenge.
Hang in there though you should feel at ease in due course and in time to come you’d probably start enjoying your relocation.
